This two building cottage is snuggled in the heart of Muskoka's Cottage Country. This pristine, quiet and private cottage has direct lakefront access to crystal clear Skeleton Lake with excellent swimming that includes a safe shallow entry, a swimming platform and a spectacular view of the lake from the docks. With four bedrooms, two baths, this cozy cottage sleeps 8 adults comfortably and 2 children to a maximum of 10.

All amenities including shopping, golf, restaurants are located within a 20 minute drive to either the Town of Huntsville or Bracebridge. Port Carling, a quiet shopping "main street" atmosphere at Lake Joseph / Lake Rosseau is also located within a 45 minute drive through rustic cottage country.

Shopping: Main Street Storefronts, LCBO, Beer Store, Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart, A&P, Robinson's Independent Grocer (Loblaws chain), Zellers, McDonald's, KFC, Tim Horton's and much, much more.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The total floor area for both the cottage and the bunkee are approximately 1,200 square feet. The cottage is situated on a private woodlot with direct walkdown access to the lakefront.

New in 2005/2006, queen size beds, new bathroom fixtures (toilet, sink, lighting), new kitchen floor, new stove, new flooring in bedrooms. A lot of renovation work yearly has gone into making this a beautiful warm and relaxing cottage for you to enjoy!

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Twin Oaks Cottages is located on Skeleton Lake in the heart of Muskoka. It's filled with crystal-clear waters, rimmed with rocky headlands and dotted with hulking islands.

This jewel is set in one of Muskoka's premier cottaging areas. East of Lake Rosseau, this great sized lake can delude you into thinking the lake forms part of some sizable waterway system. Visiting Skeleton Lake is like visiting your own private lake. Even though there are two marinas, three childrens camps they are seamlessly tucked away in the several coves and inlets that are waiting to be discovered. Did you know that Skeleton Lake contains some thirty islands and projecting and breathtaking sceneries?

If your interest is fishing, than Skeleton Lake provides a wide variety of fish throughout the summer months including walleye, trout and bass. Waterskiing, sailing and canoeing are avid activities that can be seen throughout the summer months

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

There are many areas to explore throughout the Muskoka region and all are very centralized to the cottage. The Town of Huntsville is about a 20 minute drive for all major shopping and dining experiences. Rosseau for small boutique like shopping is a 15 minute drive west from the cottage, while Port Carling with more shopping but small atmosphere like is about a 35 minute scenic drive.
